I was born in Rome, Italy and moved to London several years ago where I now call my second home. Growing up in Rome was fantastic, it is the coffee capital of the world and has an abundance of some of the best coffee shops in the world. I became fascinated with coffee from a young age, I remember the wonderful aroma as I used to wander the streets of Rome. Once I was old enough, I was able to visit the coffee bars and sample the many different types and flavours on offer.
I started working as a Barista and quickly learned everything I could about making the perfect coffee. Soon I was working in some of the busiest and most popular coffee shops in Italy. I loved my job, and the satisfaction that came from helping people find their perfect coffee.
I met my girlfriend, who is now my wife, on a holiday to London. I quickly fell in love with the city, and I realised that the people there loved coffee almost as much as back home in Italy. I moved to London soon after, and I have been living there for 5 years now. I am a barista in one of the busiest coffee shops in London, and I have taken all of my knowledge and expertise and applied it to my new surroundings.
I decided to start this site because I love coffee, and I love talking about it! One of the main objectives for this site is to help people find the perfect coffee. I hear people every day saying things like “I love coffee, but it’s not possible to get barista-style coffee at home” or “I want to make my own coffee at home, but there is just too much choice of equipment and coffee, and I don’t know where to start”.
I’m here to tell you that you can get the perfect coffee at home, you just have to find the right equipment for your own taste and needs. I created The Coffee Buzz to guide you on your mission for the perfect coffee, in the comfort of your own home.
